Managing Partner
Michael “Mike” J. Corcoran has been the firm’s managing partner since its founding. For more than 39 years, he has represented individuals and businesses throughout Michigan in criminal defense and civil litigation.
Mike has tried more than 130 jury trials and more than 100 bench trials. He is a trained and certified domestic and general civil mediator and serves as general counsel to Northern Michigan businesses.

Partner
For more than 30 years, Jim Austin has advised individual and business clients. His practice includes representing towing and wrecker companies throughout Michigan on abandoned-vehicle matters, cleanup after vehicle accidents, police towing contracts and rotations, permits, acquisitions, and contracts.
Jim is a trained general civil and domestic-relations mediator. He has argued cases before Michigan appellate courts, federal district courts, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
