Eric T. Maxon is an associate attorney at Corcoran Austin P.C., serving clients in Northern Michigan and throughout Michigan. His work includes legal research, writing and drafting, civil litigation, and regulatory matters.
Eric earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Science in Business Administration, Law and Economics from Central Michigan University. His academic honors include a full-tuition merit scholarship from Michigan State University College of Law and magna cum laude recognition from Central Michigan University.
During law school, Eric served on the executive board of the First Amendment Clinic and contributed to the Animal and Natural Resources Law Review as both Business Editor and Associate Editor. He also served as a student ambassador for Michigan State University College of Law.
After graduation, Eric accepted a postgraduate position as a Senior Judicial Law Clerk with the 52-3rd District Court. His legal training, clinic work, editorial experience, and clerkship provide a strong foundation for the research, writing, and case preparation involved in his practice.
